Rare pair of sconces in finely chased and mercury-gilded bronze. Model with two light branches. The stems are decorated with acanthus scrolls and buds. The two branches are delicately decorated with whip strokes; they support the two bowls decorated with vegetal motifs, which support two bobeches in the shape of twisted vases.
High-quality chasing and mercury-gilding.
Perfectly preserved.
Parisian work circa 1850, probably by a large workshop such as Dasson or Beurdeley.
