A pair of Napoleon III-period Louis XVI-style gilded bronze two-light sconces, 19th century.
The beveled-framed reserve plates with water-leaf frieze terminate in a putto topped with pampers holding the two light arms with channel, leaf and seed binet and rows of pearls.
Foil-covered base with bread knob. After a model by the bronzer and chiseler Pierre Gouthière (1732 - 1813).
Good condition.
