Louis XVI Large square stool in gilded wood decorated with a frieze of piastres on the belt joining connecting dice with a rosette flower motif.
It rests on four tapered legs with twisted fluting topped with an acanthus leaf frieze and joined at the bottom by an openwork X-shaped spacer decorated with intertwined tori friezes.
It is finished with feet with a leafy frieze motif.
Work from the Louis XVI period bearing a Georges Jacob stamp Beautiful Lyon silk upholstery with a flower medallion motif, and a flower basket topped with large knots.
