Pair of small gilded wood wall consoles

Each forming a shelf, these symmetrical wall consoles are carved and openworked with a central shell decorated with rocaille scrolls in a heart shape, topped with acanthus leaves and volutes and highlighted with a medallion framed with volutes.

Regency period work, all in gilded wood in its original gilding.Beautiful work of finely executed sculptures.
