Pair of carved and gilded wood armchairs.
The medallion backrest is surrounded by a frieze of molded interlacing that joins the armrests with scrolls and upholstered cuffs.
The armrests are supported by consoles richly decorated with piastre friezes and finished with palmette decorations.
The curved belt is decorated with interlacing friezes that connect connecting dice decorated with flowers.
It rests on tapered legs with rudentée fluting.
Beautiful Lyon silk upholstery in gold colors and with a flowered medallion motif, and a flowered basket topped with large bows, in pink, blue and red.
Very beautiful original gilding.
Work from the Louis XVI period stamped by Jean Baptiste Sené and JME received master in 1769.
