This 1793 Sèvres soft-paste porcelain cup and saucer is a rare example featuring a bold and vivid color combination of celadon green with bright yellow. The design includes multiple oval reserves finely painted with floral bouquets, framed by gilt scrolls and decorative bands—hallmarks of late 18th-century Sèvres ornamentation.
The use of multiple reserves was a signature decorative technique of the Sèvres manufactory during this period, later simplified in the 19th century.
Condition: As is typical of 18th-century soft-paste porcelain, minor firing irregularities may be present. No chips or repairs; the piece remains entirely unrestored and original.
