The Riva degli Schiavoni, the Ducal Palace, the two famous Columns and the Marciana National Library overlook the waters in front of Piazza San Marco.
In the distance you can glimpse the entrance to the Grand Canal with the Chiesa della Salute and the Punta della Dogana.
A fantastic and surreal place, of absolute beauty, which has inspired an infinite number of artists enchanted by the indescribable charm of Venice and its monuments.
The author follows a typically French pictorial technique, which preludes, with a highly effective brushstroke, the great novelty of the impressionist masters, many of whom will find the source of their inspiration precisely in Venice.
