Exquisite cylinder secretary desk with display cabinet, Napoleon III period

Beautiful Louis XV style cylinder secretary with writing table that can be outstretched. Central drawer under the tablet, little drawers inside. On top, a glassed double door display cabinet with two drawers. Veneered wood, Louis cube marquetry in the central oval medallion. Nice quality of gilt bronze with at each foot an espagnolette female bust. The backside of this secretary is also adorned and shows the same marquetry and bronzes, which is very rare and makes it a furniture that can be put in the center of a room (or a room separator). Beautifully restored by professionals. “Derumaux” mark found inside the desk.
