Tripod Pedestal Attributed To Léonard Boudin

Small round pedestal table with rack, in rosewood.

The canted barrel is surrounded by a half-height shelf and supports a tray in the upper part. Each tray is surrounded by a gilt bronze and openwork ingot mold.
The main top is decorated with a stylized rosette divided into twelve parts in rosewood marquetry.
The secondary tray, which is smaller, is divided into six parts in rosewood veneer.
It rests on an animated tripod base.

Due to its mechanism, this small pedestal table is very interesting because it allows the height of the upper plate to be modulated via a rack activated by a side striker.

Very beautiful 18th century work attributed to Léonard Boudin (1735-1807), Received Master on March 4, 1761.

Dimensions: H 69.5cm x D 50cm
