Duchesse à Oreille with lace-up cane bottom Louis XV period

This very important Duchess is in molded and sculpted green lacquered wood decorated with floral and foliage cartouches.

It has a lace-up cane bottom, rests on eight arched crowbar feet and has two side ears joined at right angles to the backrest. These ears extend directly to the level of the caned arms as well.

The flat backrest, slightly inclined towards the rear, ends in a scalloped top.
