Stoneware Vase - Paul Bonifas (1893-1967)

Rare stoneware vas by the Swiss ceramist Paul Bonifas (1893-1967) of the first period 1915-1919. Provenience: Bonifas's estate.Vase illustrated in "L'art du potier Paul A. Bonifas" written by E. Beacon and Ozenfant, La Baconnière publishers, 1961, page 18.
Bonifas worked in Switzerland, then in France between 1923 and 1940. After World War II he moved to United States of America.
