Presumed portrait of Marie Anne de Bourbon known as Mademoiselle de Blois, late 17th century

Legitimated daughter of L XIV and Mademoiselle de Lavallière (1666-1739) called Mademoiselle de Blois, at the age of 8 years. She is dressed in a red dress with gold embellishments, puffed sleeves and white ruffles that emphasize her round and youthful face.
Closer to the portrait in the Louvre Museum inventory no. MI942.
Same face and blondness as our portrait allowing the identification.

The first of her name, she was presented to the Court in 1674, which already praised her grace and beauty. She became the favorite daughter of the king who found in her the beauty of her mother, to whom she remained close by visiting her regularly in her convent.
On January 16, 1680, she married Prince Louis Armand de Conti at the age of 18 and became Princess of Conti.

Oval portrait in excellent condition, framed in wood and gilded stucco also in the 19th century.
