A rare pair of oval metal verrières with "Chinese" decoration in vernis Martin, red and gold on a black background. Each side presents a decoration declining an animated lakeside landscape with pagodas, villagers, pierced rocks, trees and flowers. Fine crenellated border underlined by a golden net. They are each provided with two handles riveted on their sides.
