A silver casket set with harlequin panels of agate.
German, 18th century.
Measures 15.3 x 10.5 x 6.5cm.
The panels are secured with dogs-tooth settings, the lid engraved with foliate decoration and the corners with grotesque mascarons.
The edge of the casket is stamped with a silver control mark for Milan, Italy c.1810-1872.
