Pair of carved beechwood seats with high backs, finely carved at the top in a queen pattern with a shell around foliage. The same carving on the scalloped belts, armrests and cambered legs with acanthus leaves connected by a moulded, leafy spacer centred on a burst flower, goat's hoof legs.
Very nice cover of silk velvet brocaded.
Regency period, Paris , early 18th century .
