Very beautiful gouache representing a "boarding in a river port" very probably the city of Antwerp, Flemish school of the 17th century, circa 1640.
This gouache is a precious testimony of the daily life in the 17th century, but also by the quality of its execution as well by the profusion of characters, the details as well as the freshness of the colors.
It has a beautiful carved and gilded wooden frame with leaves, foliage and flowers.
