Saint John the Evangelist (Bohemia, lime, 15th)

Wood (lime?) carving of the standing apostle on a low plinth, holding a Gothic Girdle book, carved back.
Cracks (hands and book), traces of woodworm, missing shoe tips. Later polychromy. Nose probably restored.
With NPÚ certificate (National Heritage Board) for permanent export, NPÚ Brno 2020 confirming the age. Bohemia, last third of the 15th century.
Dimensions: 53x18x8 cm.
