Monstrance Reliquary - Germany 19th century

In sculpted wood, cream and gilt lacquer, decorated with foliage and rococo-style windings, the central part houses an abundance of rolled, gilded papers, gilded threads and colored beads.

In its center is a wax bust of the Virgin. Two reliquary niches frame the central part. The whole rests on a rectangular terrace. The relics are those of Saint Vincent, Saint Desideri, Saint Blacidus... On the back are five seals bearing the arms of an archbishop with a coat of arms representing a crayfish.
