Corpus Christi (Tyrol/Trentino, 15th century)

Rare Corpus from the region between south of Tyrol and north of Italy. Dated with C14 between 1415-1455 AD. Soft wood (most probably Swiss pine, cirmolo). Very tender expression. Losses (arms, feet), split in perizonium and multiple traces of xylophagi. Accompanied by its C14 test from KIK/IRPA (Koninklijk Instituut voor Kunstpatrimonium / Institut Royal du Patrimoine Artistique).
