"Etruscan" clock, Empire period

Strange clock in patinated and gilt bronze patinated -décoré consists of a gilded bronze sconces trapeze taking grotesque scenery, that we find in Percier and Fontaine of what appear the bust and feet of a woman wearing in 'antique.

Dial signed Roy in Paris, Simon Roy died in 1809, several pendulums movement kept at Mobilier National bear his signature.
