Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
After paintings by Henry Auguste d'Ainecy de Montpezat, French animal painter (1817–1859).
Engraved by Jean-Pierre Marie Jazet (1788–1871).
Printed by Goupil, Vibert & Co., active in Paris and London from the mid-19th century.
Original backing boards, three of which retain the firm's label.
Condition consistent with age and use, with a few minor stains. Pine frames.
