Lorenzo Delleani (Pollone, 1840 – Turin, 1908) Oil on panel, signed lower right Dimensions: 66x80 cm (framed) Panel: 50x66cm He trained at the Accademia Albertina in Turin as a student of Cesare Gamba and Carlo Arienti. He exhibited in 1874 at the Paris Salon and at various Venice Biennales. Initially a painter of historical scenes, he increasingly devoted himself to landscapes painted en plein air. His works are held in many Piedmontese collections.
