Round ceremonial plate in majolica from Deruta (Italy) with a polychrome decoration in the center depicting a seated couple against a landscape background. The rim is adorned with foliage scrolls and interlocking scale motifs arranged in six compartments alternating with solid bands.
First half of the 16th century.
Possibly attributed to Giacomo Mancini.
Diameter: 40 cm.
Three restored glaze cracks in the center and on the back.
