Japanese tea powder contanier

Decorated with open fans featuring irises, bamboo, and cherry blossoms, executed in gold and silver lacquer using *taka-maki-e* and *kirikane* techniques. The interior features *nashiji* lacquer and bears the *kao* (stylized signature) of Hisada Soya (Jingyusai) (1925–2010), the 12th tea master of the Hisada family (Omotesenke school); the *fukusa* bears the seal of Issai.
The storage box (*tomobako*) is inscribed "O-natsume, fan," signed "Issai zo" (made by Issai), and bears a seal.
