Pair of mahogany bookcases, each opening with a glazed door.
Mahogany veneer and rosewood veneer on oak
The slightly splayed upper section is surmounted by a Black Belgian marble top and is decorated on three sides with a frieze of nine gilt-bronze stars.
Each bookcase is stamped on the reverse JEANSELME.
Restoration period, Paris, circa 1840.
