A KANGXI period (circa 1700-1720) Chinese porcelain Cache-Pot with a brown Capuchin background. The reserves with white background are decorated with floral enamels of the Rose family. The flared truncated shape, slightly inward towards the base, is typical of the period. The Regency-period frame, in finely chased bronze gilded with mercury, features an openwork collar with oval arcatures and twisted braid, and a base with acanthus leaves and ovals.
