This imposing wooden lectern rests on a tripod base. The eagle, in referencereference to Saint John the Evangelist, is spread-winged and rests on a spheresphere, symbolizing the Gospel's protection of the earthly world. Note the large tripod base richly decorated with cherubs' headsof cherubs, foliage and plant motifs.
Dimensions 191 cm high and 73 cm wide at eagle level.
Feet spaced approximately 112 cm apart. Beautiful condition - in two parts
