Offered by Anne Besnard
This vermeil and coral bracelet is fitted with an important snap clasp. At the center is a medallion adorned with a female figure. Five rows of coral beads encircle the wrist, and it is fitted with a fine safety chain.
It is in good overall condition; however, the slightly darker coral beads must have been replaced.
Each element of the bracelet is struck with a boar’s head, the control hallmark used from 1838 onward. A diamond-shaped maker’s mark appears on the clasp, but we have not been able to identify it.
Louis-Philippe period.
Wrist size: 18.5 cm.
