Gold and Hair Bracelet, 18th Century

This hair bracelet is adorned at the clasp with a miniature set under glass and framed in gold. The bracelet is composed of nine braided strands of hair, interspersed at regular intervals with a line of eight small gilded metal beads.

Overall in good condition, though it should be noted that there are two or three minor snags in the hair braids and a few small impacts around the medallion. The push-button clasp bears an owl hallmark, guaranteeing a gold purity of 750/1000.
