Pair of oriental alabaster vases, ovoid in shape on a pedestal and square base.
The smooth body allows the fine veins of the alabaster to be appreciated. They feature chiseled and gilded bronze ornamentation consisting of two dolphin-head handles and are topped with a lid decorated with a pine cone on a rosette.
They rest on a square base in chiseled and gilded bronze on four small boule feet. Their interior has a lead lining.
