Beautiful secrétaire in satinwood veneer with gilt bronze mounts.
Blue Turquin marble top with cavetto molding and pierced gallery.
It opens on the front with one drawer, a fall-front, and two projecting doors. The fall-front reveals two drawers and a niche, with ring pulls decorated with laurel torus motifs. The writing surface is covered with leather embellished with gilt decoration: leafy motifs and rinceaux.
The front and rear uprights are rounded. Rich gilt bronze ornamentation includes framing moldings, flowers, floral cartouches, and a keyhole escutcheon in the form of a radiant female mask. Tapered legs with sabots; oak and mahogany carcass.
