“Mazarin” desk richly inlaid with stained woods and ebony on an olivewood ground, opening with four drawers, a recessed central door, and a sliding upper drawer forming a writing surface and revealing a compartmented interior with three small drawers.
It stands on eight tapering legs joined by X-shaped stretchers.
Rich marquetry decoration of scrolls, small flowers, birds, flower-filled vases, and satyrs across the top, façade, sides, uprights, and stretchers.
