A remarkable piece, this gilded marbled wood tabernacle from theregion of Rome.It dates from the second half of the 17th century.The façade features four white marbled wood columns surmounted byCorinthian capitals in gilded wood. Two columns at the rear complete the work.The central niche is protected by a door decorated with a chalice inGlory, carried by the Nuée and surmounted by the monogram of Christ. Large dimensions: 104 cm high, 85 cm wide and 51 cm deep.depth. Fine condition - occasional chips or chips to gilding and keyless.
