Set of four large “à la reine” armchairs, in white lacquered wood with medallion-shaped backs, carved with a wide frieze of “heart-shaped motifs” and a “ribbon scroll” design, as well as on the front and side panels.
Parisian work from the late 18th century in its original lacquer. No repairs. Entirely reupholstered with new “crimson red” mohair velvet. Stamped by LELARGE Jean Baptiste III (1743/1802), admitted as a master on February 1, 1775.
