Veiled lady seated on a throne. Dressed in a chiton wrapped in a himation. The cloak thus covers her entire body up to her head, revealing a few strands of hair. Her face is characterized by a soft oval shape, large eyes, and rimmed upper eyelids. The nose is straight, the mouth full. This lady represents the transition between the archaic style characterized by a certain rigidity and hieratic quality and the classical style with a delicate and precise face and an expressive gaze.
