We present a delightful boudoir clock illustrating the allegory of Poetry, a theme highly sought after throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.
Finely chased and decorated with vases, flowers, acanthus leaves, and laurel garlands, it rests on four small feet. A beautiful original gilding completes the decoration.
