A pair of gilt bronze Table Bowls

Pair of table bowls, in finely chiselled gilt bronze; the baluster shaft decorated with acanthus leaves and large volutes ending in lion's claws supports a gadrooned basin.
They rest on triangular bases with curved sides.
Very beautiful original gilding.
Beautiful work in the style of Thomire, based on designs by C. Percier and P. L. Fontaine.
