Desk with blackened pear wood on all sides and geometric brass inlay decorations, resting on four curved legs. It opens with five drawers, a recessed central drawer separating the other curved drawers, giving rhythm to the front and greater comfort for the user. The back has exactly the same layout.
The top is covered in dark garnet leather and surrounded by blackened pear wood with filigree, and edged with a gilt bronze moulding with a corbel and spandrels.
Beautiful ornamentation in chiselled and gilded bronze: mascarons with radiant female figures on the sides, cloven hooves, drop handles and keyholes, and corner pieces on the top.
