Superb display cabinet in solid walnut and Rio rosewood veneer, molded, carved, and inlaid with a clematis motif. It opens with three doors and, on either side, two shelved niches. The cornice is shaped and carved in high relief with foliage and flowers. The cabinet stands on sabre legs joined by ribbed stretchers inspired by plant forms; lock escutcheons and keys are in gilt bronze.
The interior, veneered in bird’s-eye maple, is fitted with two glass shelves and a platform. Hot stamp mark on the right front panel.
Very fine cabinetmaking quality.
