A pair of finely chased and gilded bronze andirons, Louis XVI period, each adorned with an acorn surmounted by rosette-shaped foliage, resting on baluster feet.
The decoration continues with broad, finely modeled acanthus leaf scrolls, supporting graceful laurel wreaths arranged in garlands.
The uprights rest on a fluted half-column pilaster, supported by a carved ribbon-like cane.
Exquisite carving, original chasing and gilding.
