Pair of wide cabriolet seats in repainted beech, with curved backs adorned in the centre with a rich acanthus leaf motif surrounded by foliage plumes. They are entirely moulded and carved with an interlaced frieze that extends onto the scroll-work armrests. The belts are also decorated with an interlaced frieze, and the four fluted legs are adorned with foliage.
Louis XVI period, Paris.
They bear the stamp of master cabinetmaker Delaisement.
Nicolas Denis Delaisement 1749-1804, master craftsman in 1776.
In perfect condition.
