The seat features richly carved decoration with vegetal motifs enhanced by acanthus leaves and water leaves. The pierced stretcher, adorned with scrolls and leafy arabesques, is surmounted by a bouquet with a rose at its center. The armrests and scrolled legs echo the same decorative vocabulary.
Louis XIV period.
Modern red velvet upholstery.
Usual condition, partially re-gilded.
