This gilt-silver and coral bracelet features a substantial snap clasp. At its center is a medallion adorned with a female figure, and five rows of coral beads encircle the wrist. It is fitted with a fine safety chain. The bracelet is in good overall condition; however, the slightly darker coral beads were likely replaced. Each element of the bracelet is stamped with a boar’s head, the French hallmark for silver used from 1838 onwards. A lozenge-shaped maker’s mark appears on the clasp, but we have not been able to identify it.
Louis-Philippe period.
