Elegant Louis XVI sofa with a fully carved and gilded oval backrest, resting on seven tapered and fluted legs. The back, seat, and armrests are upholstered in finely crafted crimson lampas, offering a refined contrast to the gilding of the wood.The woodwork features a rich twisted ribbon decoration running around the entire perimeter of the back, armrests, and belt. The connecting blocks are decorated with small carved rosettes, while the turned legs, typical of the Louis XVI style, are decorated with fluted grooves and end in delicate finials.The elegantly curved recessed armrests extend into carved volutes and are fitted with matching armrests.
