A rectangular box made of coral, silver, bronze, and gilt copper.
It features a silver plaque decoration with scrolls and floral ornamentation.
The entire piece is framed by a decoration of teardrops, commas, and retro coral cabochons set within one of the gilt bronze elements.
The interior is lined with a later piece of wood, and the underside is covered with a gilt brass plaque engraved with foliage.
The box rests on four bronze and coral feet.
Note: Very good overall condition; the interior has some later restorations to the coral.
