Louis XVI period portico clock

Portico clock in white marble and gilt bronze.

On a marble base with a rounded projection, two fluted pilasters adorned with gilt bronze reeding support the movement's drum.

At the top, an antique-style vase holds a bouquet of flowers surmounted by a bird. A pair of birds are also found on the projection of the base.

The original movement, serviced and in perfect working order, is signed Le Roy in Paris.
