Yari Samurai Spear Japan Edo Period

Yari shaped like a spear, or more precisely a straight-pointed spear. Shagreen, Burgeau inlays.
The lower part of the spear is hirumaki, which protects the shaft from damage caused by contact with the ground, but can also be used for striking and thrusting.
