Very large round dining table with eight legs, drop leaves and extensions, in solid mahogany.
Known as the “pieds Jacob” model.
It is fitted with its original oak sliding mechanism and—of exceptional rarity—with seven extension leaves in solid mahogany.
This remarkable table, 1.62 m in diameter, can be extended to a length of 5.80 m with a generous width of 1.62 m. With a circumference of 14 metres, it can comfortably seat 24 guests.
Parisian work, Empire period.
The table is in superb condition, the sliding system fully revised by our cabinetmaker, and the finish executed in traditional French polish (rempli-ciré).
