Hector GUIMARD (1867–1942)
Pair of cast-iron planters, retaining their rare original turquoise-green paint. These pieces stand out for their organic, bowl-shaped silhouette, characteristic of the decorative language of Art Nouveau. The design, with its elegant scrolls, elongated stems, and openwork rim with flowing lines, perfectly reflects the natural inspiration and sense of movement that define Guimard’s work. Created in the early 20th century, they illustrate the refinement and creativity of the architect and designer, who successfully brought his aesthetic vision even into everyday objects.
Dimensions: 50 × 70 × 47 cm.
