Exceptional and rare pair of double candlesticks in polychrome Sèvres porcelain, gilt bronze and Sèvres biscuit, decorated with putti holding cornucopias.

Signed and stamped Manufacture de Sèvres.

Dimensions: Height: 38.5 cm
Excellent condition (minor firing flaw).

A series of this model was commissioned by Empress Eugénie, who, with her great passion for the 18th century, was behind numerous re-editions of Sèvres biscuits.
